Miss Cheney's Class

Hello!

I am so excited to be your 3rd Grade Math and Science Teacher! I am originally from Oneonta, Alabama and I recently relocated to Birmingham. I graduated from Jacksonville State University in December of 2017 with a degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I am the youngest of four girls and an aunt to my two precious nephews (Breck-3 and Greyson-1). On the weekends in the Fall, if I am not at home watching football, I am in Tuscaloosa with my family cheering on the tide (roll tide!). In my spare time, I enjoy watching Netflix shows, spending time with my family, and eating great food. 

This will be my first official year of teaching. This past semester (January 2018-May 2018), I took over Mrs. Wallis' class while she completed an internship with our principal, Mrs. Talton. So, I am very acquainted with 3rd Grade Math and Science and Margaret Elementary!  I am SO excited to get to know each one of you and get this year off to a great start! It's going to be a fun year!
